The concluding chapter of the INTERRUPCIÓN 2023-series! WORM will be host to a tropical Thursday for the last time this year, with an evening dedicated to tropicannibalistic music, vintage cumbia and avant-garde experiments from Latin America and its diaspora.

This time we have invited the great ALEX FIGUEIRA who, together with a freshly assembled band, will play songs from his brilliant solo debut album Mentallogenic. Colombia’s GENOSIDRA (who’s also known for his work as bass player in Blanco Teta) will provide some essential noise, both live AND with a dj set. There’s dooombia from the mysterious DOOOMBIAMBEROS, BUBBLES will deliver a flavourful vinyl set and VJ ALERTA projects some visual wizardry!

She is also a great lover of cumbia, merengue and salsa. Some of her favourite bands are Minyo Crusaders, Los Homeboys and Meridian Brothers. You will hear killer dance tunes from her on vinyl.

VJ ALERTA is Alejandra Huerta (STUDIO ALERTA). She is a chilean/ dutch artist based in Rotterdam the Netherlands and in Chile. She mixes
based on geometric and symmetric figures inspired by symbols and folkloric expression from native cultures from South America and outer space sci-fi fantasies. As a VJ she has performed at electronic and latin (art) parties / festivals in Turkey, Chile, Belgium and the Netherlands.

VJ ALERTA es Alejandra Huerta (ESTUDIO ALERTA). Artista chilena / holandesa radicada en Róterdam, Países Bajos y en Chile. Mezcla su propio universo gráfico basado en figuras geométricas y simétricas inspiradas en
de las culturas nativas de Suramérica y fantasías de ciencia ficción del espacio exterior. Como VJ se ha presentado en fiestas latinas y festivales de (arte) electrónico en Turquía, Chile, Bélgica y los Países Bajos.
